Your Finest Second Cheapest Wine Please - Standup Comedy in Engl

Mustafa Algiyadi returns to Gothenburg with a brand-new hour of stand-up about taste, status, self-image, and the suspicious origins of our opinions.
Moving through class, culture and modern life, the Libyan comedian examines the forces quietly shaping our choices. From social pressure to the internet to the dangerous amount of confidence produced by spending too much time inside your own head.
His critically-acclaimed debut show Almost Legal Alien toured across 22 countries and 53 cities and sold out several shows, including a run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Mustafa has opened for Reggie Watts and Todd Barry, earned a spot in The Times' "Top Jokes of the Edinburgh Fringe 2024," and drawn coverage in The Guardian, The Scotsman, and The List.
Based in Germany, Mustafa hosts the English night at Munich's Lucky Punch Comedy Club and is the founder of the longest-running English stand-up comedy night in the city. He trained at The Second City and has a background in improv theatre.
